Signs of the End Times: A Reality We Shouldn’t Ignore
These days, as the world is filled with chaos, natural disasters, wars, and strange diseases, many people wonder: are we nearing the end times? Could these events be the very signs our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) warned us about?
We must understand that the signs of the end times, according to authentic Islamic teachings, are divided into two categories: minor signs and major signs.
Minor Signs: What We Are Living Through Today
In reality, most of the minor signs have already happened. The first minor sign was the revelation of Islam to our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), bringing God’s final message to humanity.
Since then, other minor signs have continued to appear, including:
• Wars, both large and small, in many parts of the world;
• Natural disasters and repeated earthquakes;
• New diseases that never existed before;
• General confusion and chaos in human societies.
We are now living among these minor signs, seeing and experiencing them almost daily.
Major Signs: What Has Yet to Happen
However, the major signs—which are ten in total—have not yet appeared. Among the most important of them are:
• The appearance of Imam Mahdi (peace be upon him), who will establish justice on earth;
• The emergence of the Antichrist (Dajjal), misleading many people;
• The descent of Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him), who will join Imam Mahdi to fight Dajjal and destroy his army of 70,000;
• After that, other major signs will follow, until finally, all true believers will pass away, and only non-believers will remain to witness the final great earthquake that ends life on earth.
Will We Witness These Major Signs?
Personally, I believe that you and I will not witness these major signs. Why? Because with Allah, one day is like a thousand years for us humans. Perhaps these events will come much later than we expect.
What Should Our Focus Be?
In truth, constantly thinking about the details and timing of the end times is not beneficial. What matters more is our duty as Muslims today. Our role is to invite others to Islam—with love and kindness. Not by force, but through good character and gentle speech.
Islam is a religion for all of humanity. It is our mission to share this beautiful message with those around us.
The Reality of Today’s World
Today, our enemy is not Dajjal or his army of 70,000. The real problem is the chaos, injustice, and oppression we see all around us, while those who should stand up for goodness and defend the weak, sadly remain silent.
In this world full of trials, it is upon us to spread kindness, invite people to reflect on the truth, and show them the right path—each of us, in our own way.
Final Words
Some may think knowing every detail about the Day of Judgment is important. But more important is using your life wisely—here and now. Religion is not just about knowing; it’s about action, behavior, and inviting others to the truth.
Let us not repeat the mistakes of old religious institutions that kept people in ignorance. Instead, let us guide people, invite them kindly, and allow the light of Islam to enter their hearts.
In the end, we ask Allah to guide you, me, and all of humanity towards goodness, protect us from harm, and fill our hearts with His light.
Ameen.

This article analyzes the nineteen drone incursions into Polish airspace on the night of 10–11 September 2025, in the context of Russia’s Zapad-2025 military exercise. It argues that the incident was not accidental, but a deliberate strategic probe designed to test NATO’s response, expose vulnerabilities, and blur the line between war games and real-world operations.
