OGMIOS Foundation

The foundation is named after a Celtic God who preferred the power of thinking to brute force.

Purpose of the foundation:

We are a group of entrepreneurs who recognize that the destruction of our planet has taken excessive proportions all this because it is still believed that money and profit are more important than our only planet we live on, as we don't have a spare planet on hand yet. and even if we do, by using the resources we have in a smart way, we want to create awareness and realize changes in the field of sustainability and a better relationship with our beautiful planet.

Direct goals are:

• To create awareness through publications and also to support organizations involved in this.
  
• Sponsoring projects for the benefit of the planet (such as purchasing strategic areas of rainforest and promoting sustainable employment projects for the local population).
  
• To adapt patent law in such a way that new sustainable innovations do not end up in the safe of a (fossil) energy company but are further developed.
  
• Counteract commercial health care when it clearly misses its target and promote natural-based medicines and methods.
  
• Stop destructive industry in favor of sustainable solutions.
  

We think we can achieve these goals by deliberately litigating on the basis of (new) European legislation (including 'the polluter pays legislation'), but litigation costs a lot of money, money that we think we can raise through crowdfunding and donations.

The foundation is non-profit making and spends more than 90% of all income directly on the above stated goals.

Salary for the board is not given, only an expense allowance.
