Ogmios Foundation is proud to introduce Salima Jafari as one of the most promising, committed, and inspiring young voices joining our internship program.
Salima is originally from Afghanistan, a country where insecurity and systemic restrictions forced her to leave her homeland in search of safety and opportunity. Despite the many challenges faced by Afghan refugees in Iran, Salima never gave in to despair. Instead, she chose the path of education, awareness, and self-empowerment—with deep belief in a better future.
She is currently studying Journalism at Payame Noor University, while her foundation in the field was built earlier through a six-month professional journalism training program at Hadith Elm Academy. There, she developed strong skills in reporting, interviewing, media content production, and media analysis—skills she continues to sharpen in pursuit of a meaningful role in the world of media.
Salima’s goal in joining the Ogmios internship is not simply to learn—it is to tell the untold stories, to give voice to those silenced by marginalization, war, and displacement. With a deeply human-centered perspective and unwavering commitment to truth and justice, Salima seeks to amplify the voices of women, migrants, and communities too often ignored by mainstream narratives.
From Ogmios’ perspective, Salima is far more than an intern—she is a powerful asset, with exceptional potential for growth, impact, and storytelling. She embodies courage, honesty, and hope. She is the kind of voice we are proud to support, nurture, and stand beside.
Salima is a story in the making—one not born of defeat, but of resilience. The story of a young woman who has chosen to rewrite herself, her future, and the world around her.
